At our clinic, we use Juvederm®, Restylane®, Perlane® and Esthelis® which are temporary dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring sugar found in your skin.  Since they are made of a familiar substance, the body accepts it as a replacement of what has naturally been lost over time.  Temporary fillers like Juvederm® or Restylane® can last up to 1 year.  Over this time, your body will simply break down the filler.
